93-02 Camaro Firebird Rack & Pinion F41

Used rack & pinion removed from various 93-02 Camaro and Firebird models equipped with F41 suspension package. This has 2.25 turns lock to lock ratio. This would be on all 93-97 LT1 V8 cars. It was also used on some of the 96-97 3.8 V6 cars with (Firebird GT and Camaro RS) & without Y87 suspension. It was also used on SOME 98-02 3.8 V6 cars, with (Firebird GT Camaro RS) and without Y87 suspension. Will NOT fit 98-02 LS1 w/FE 2 suspension and will NOT fit 98-02 3.8 V6 w/FE 2 suspension.
If you have a 98-02 3.8 V6 car and aren't sure. Look at the steering coupler from the steering column to the rack & pinion. If it has a "rag" joint, round rubber disc, then it has the F41 suspension. If it looks to have a solid joint, then it has the FE2 suspension. You can't interchange as the steering couplers are different and clocked 90 degrees off. Fits the following applications:

93-97 Camaro, SS, Z28 w/F41 suspension
98-02 Camaro, RS w/F41 suspension
93-97 Firebird, Formula, Firehawk, Trans Am, WS6 w/F41 suspension
